The museum educational program is suitable for adults, students in grades 4–12, and groups of friends of different ages.
The lesson is a journey through time, where students are involved in an interactive role-playing game, becoming knights, peasant landlords, or noble ladies, learning greeting etiquette, social relations, learning ancient writing on wax tablets, and also developing an understanding of life in the Middle Ages.
The knights will present the fogt with gifts prepared by the program creators, and the peasants will pay tribute. During the visit, under the guidance of the Turaida Fogt and scribe, the program participants will learn medieval manners and writing skills. The story of the Middle Ages in Turaida will be complemented by medieval music and the light of the fireplace, as well as an excursion to the Turaida Castle exhibitions.
